Stargardt's Disease

Cone-Rod Dystrophy

The goal of this research is to better understand the progression of Stargardt's disease and cone-rod dystrophy.

We are looking for volunteers seven years and older who have been diagnosed with Stargardt's disease or cone-rod dystrophy. We are also interested in siblings of Stargardt's and cone-rod dystrophy patients.

This study consists of behavioral tests of your vision, high-resolution imaging of your retina, and clinical tests of your vision. Average time required is two 3-hour sessions. You could be invited back for follow-up imaging.

As it is a research study only, there is no direct clinical benefit to you for participating. You will be paid for your participation (children will be paid in the form of a Barnes & Noble or Best Buy gift card) and travel will be reimbursed according to MCW travel reimbursement guidelines.
