Current research interests
I am studying the in vivo inner retinal pathology of glaucoma and other neurologic diseases with adaptive optics (AO). I would like to examine the similarities and differences between these conditions, and determine what information AO can contribute to clinical knowledge.
In parallel I am performing an in depth study of the chromatic aberration of the human eye. This project will lay the ground work for “adaptive” chromatic aberration correction, and eventually, hyperspectral adaptive optics imaging.

Brief Biographical Information
I initially joined the lab as an undergraduate at University of Rochester. After my first two years of medical school I rejoined in order to complete my PhD research. I moved to MCW to join Dr. Dubra in summer 2012 after completing my graduate school coursework. I am an avid cyclist, and shameless italophile!
