I compare genetic risk profiles for Age Related Macular Degeneration with clinical and imaging findings. My research interests include Best Vitelliform Macular Dystrophy and Age Related Macular Degeneration.

Brief Biographical Information
My love of science stems from my fascination for wanting to know how things work. I think I never truly grew out of that childhood habit of constantly asking “why,” and I am still not satisfied with the answer, “I don’t know, it just is.” I think it is a wonderful experience to be able to answer a few of those “why” questions by thoughtful experimental design coupled with diligent work.
