  • Outreach Materials / Events
    • Hosted community event featuring Dr. Lance Whitehair, MD from the Center for American Indian Minority Health, University of Minnesota-Duluth on cancer basics, cancer and the Native American population and cancer prevention (September 25, 2012)
    • Hosted a Women's Health Fair and Men's Health Fair at the Red Cliff Community Health Center to share information about cancer prevention and screening and education by tribal elders about cancer survivorship
    • Developed a 32-minute documentary film titled “Red Cliff Cancer Stories” sharing the cancer experiences of Red Cliff community members and distributed to Native CIRCLE, a national resource center for AI/AN specific educational materials on cancer
    • Held a Celebration of the Spirit event to honor loved ones who died from or survived cancer, distributed educational materials and showed the project’s documentary (December 2013)
