Young Female Athletes Need Healthy Conditioning: Folic Acid Reverses Early Heart Disease Risk

Anne Hoch, DO, Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Medical College of Wisconsin, who has been researching the dangers of the female athlete triad - disordered eating, amenorrhea, osteoporosis - for years. She discusses her most recent study, published in the Clinical Journal of Sports Medicine about the use of folic acid to reverse early risk of heart disease.
