Allergy and Clinical Immunology (A&I) is a conjoint board, so we accept physicians who have completed either Internal Medicine or Pediatric residency programs. A&I fellows are required to be board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine or American Board of Pediatrics to sit for the A&I board examination.
We receive approximately 90 requests for applications for our 2 fellowship positions annually. The training program is 36 months in length, and we will begin downloading applications for 2014 positions July 15, 2013. We participate in the ERAS system for processing applications, and the NRMP match program. The ERAS website (www.aamc.org/eras) and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology website (www.aaaai.org) have more specific details as well.
