Biographic Information:

Dr. Dorothy Cheung received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in biochemistry, economics, and molecular biology.  After receiving her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Dr. Cheung completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in allergy and immunology at Washington University School of Medicine.  Following that, Dr. Cheung completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Cheung is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  She sees patients at Asthma and Allergy Center within the section of Allergy and Immunology.  She is the director of the Asthma Plus Multidisciplinary Clinic for High Risk Asthma.

Dr. Cheung is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI).  She is also an active member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI), American Thoracic Society (ATS), and American Association of Immunologists (AAI).  Within the AAAAI, she currently chairs that Practice Improvement subcommittee and is a member of Immunotherapy, Allergen Standardization and Allergy Diagnostics Committee, Infections & Asthma Committee, Workshop Committee, and Needs Assessment Committee.  Recently, Dr. Cheung has been appointed to the Literature Selection Technical Review Committee of the National Library of Medicine, part of the National Institutes of Health.
