Randall L. Beatty, MD, GME ’89, is currently serving as the ophthalmic consultant for Afghanistan at the theatre trauma center at Bagram Air Field in Afghanistan. Dr. Beatty specializes in orbital and oculoplastic surgery. He has served as an assistant professor at various universities including the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and has been the ophthalmologist for the Pittsburgh Steelers Football Club. Dr. Beatty resides in the Pittsburgh area with his wife and two children.
