Feb. 17 - Bonnie Timarac shared a passion for design and entrepreneurship with her mother, Betty Johnson, a Milwaukee pioneer in interior decorating. Betty Johnson Interiors was the signature studio of its kind for decades, and Bonnie grew the business alongside her mother from the 1960s until it was sold in the 1990s.

April 15 - The MCW Pediatric Epilepsy Center at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin (CHW) has been recognized by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers as a Level 4 epilepsy center. Level 4 epilepsy centers have the professional expertise and facilities to provide the highest-level medical and surgical evaluation and treatment for patients with complex epilepsy.

New training positions for mental health professionals approved in Green Bay, Appleton

Feb. 20 - The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has approved the addition of ten new training slots for mental health professionals in northeastern Wisconsin. The positions, which are established to train seven psychiatrists, two psychologists, and a pharmacist, are designed to help alleviate a critical shortage of mental health professionals in that region of the state.
