The Vision

Community-based Medical Education - To develop a community medical education program that both addresses the need for primary care physicians in underserved communities across Wisconsin and employs an innovative teaching model.

Multi-community model

 - 15 students per class per campus in the first year; 25 students per class per campus thereafter

Align education models with health care’s “Triple Aim”

 - better value for the resources invested
 - better population health outcomes
 - lower cost of care

 - prevention and wellness
 - early clinical experiences for medical students
