Cardiovascular Center Golf Challenge July 14
This year’s Cardiovascular Center (CVC) Golf Challenge will be held at beautiful Chenequa Country Club on July 14, 2014 and celebrates the 16th year of the tournament.
It is anticipated that the Medical College of Wisconsin will be investing nearly $100,000 generated from the event into heart research that will help the Cardiovascular Center find new ways to save lives. The CVC Golf Challenge is a high profile event which has benefited from the support of business and community. The CVC Golf Challenge is truly unique, intimate, focused on golf and known as one of the most enjoyable charitable outings in the greater Metropolitan Milwaukee area. A strong 15-year run of the tournament has raised more than $1 million to advance break-through heart research.
The philanthropic support generated by the golf tournament enables scientists to start and continue promising research. Research is critically important to patient care because it speeds discoveries from the laboratory to those who suffer from disease and injury in the form of new treatments, products, preventions and cures.
