The Seventh Annual MCW Muses: A Celebration of Medicine and the Humanities by providing faculty, staff, residents, and students the opportunity to share their creative efforts Faculty, staff, resident, and student artists, photographers, writers, and performers are invited to participate in MCW Muses: A Celebration of Medicine and the Humanities on Thursday, January 17, 2013. MCW Muses was created to provide members of the College community an opportunity to demonstrate their artistic and creative abilities and to discuss how the humanities intersect their personal and professional lives. It is sponsored by the MCW Medical Humanities Program, the MCW Society of Teaching Scholars, and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine. Everyone is invited to attend. Contributions to the event, which will run from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm in the space surrounding the College cafeteria, can take the form of art or photography, musical performance, poetry, essay or short story readings or displays, works in the history of medicine, digital media images, or any other creative endeavor.
