The Department of Ophthalmology presents - Vision Science Distinguished Lecture. Jeffrey L. Goldberg, MD, PhD Vision Science Distinguished Lecture on Monday, April 22, 2013 - lecture at noon, 11:45am lunch at the Eye Institute, Lower Level Conference Room. Lunch will be provided Jeffrey L. Goldberg, MD, PhD, an award winning physician scientist, will be visiting the Medical College of Wisconsin on Monday 4/22/13. Dr. Goldberg will give the final Vision Science Distinguished Lecture of the 2012-2013 series. One of Dr. Goldberg’s main areas of research is Glaucoma. He is working with MCW Assist. Professor Alfredo Dubra on the Glaucoma Research Foundation’s Catalyst for a Cure consortium. Dr. Goldberg was the 2012 Assoc. for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology Cogan Award winner for his outstanding leadership and commitment to advancing the understanding of the causes, mechanisms, and treatment of human eye disease.
