Adult Cardiovascular Care Services

Adult services include leading-edge diagnosis, clinical trials and treatment for patients with heart, vascular and cardiopulmonary disease. Specialists in cardiovascular medicine, vascular surgery, cardiac surgery and vascular radiology provide comprehensive, individualized care.

Adult patient services are available at these locations:

Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Heart and Vascular Center is conveniently located near major highways in suburban Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The center also offers a variety of services in different areas of Wisconsin, depending on the needs of the patient.

Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center provides primary care at the Milwaukee location, as well as at clinics in Appleton, Union Grove, and in east central Wisconsin at Cleveland, and through a mobile clinic. Primary care services are also provided to Native American veterans who are members of the Oneida Nation via a contract with the Oneida Nation Health Clinic. Secondary and tertiary inpatient and outpatient care is provided at the Milwaukee facility.

Clinical trials add significantly to the body of knowledge needed to find new solutions to health problems by testing experimental drugs, medical devices and treatment protocols.

These trials are summarized and include a brief description of the study purpose and basic qualifications for participation. The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Institutional Review Board has approved each clinical trial.
