The Cardiovascular Center (CVC) Golf Challenge

Scenes from the 2013 CVC Golf ChallengeThe CVC Golf Challenge, now in its 16th year, is a high-profile event which has benefitted from the support of business and community. The event is truly unique and known as one of the most enjoyable charitable outings in the greater Metropolitan Milwaukee area. A strong 15-year run of the tournament has raised nearly $1 million to advance breakthrough heart research at the College.

Cardiovascular disease is a devastating and costly health problem accounting for one-third of all deaths each year, making it the leading cause of death among men and women in the nation. In Wisconsin, one out of every three deaths is from cardiovascular disease.

The Cardiovascular Center is one of the leading multidisciplinary research centers in the country, with more than 170 physicians and scientists from many departments at the Medical College united in the search to prevent and treat heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

Event details:

  • Registration begins at 10 a.m. at the Chenequa Country Club, 6250 N. Hwy. 83, Hartland
  • Shotgun start at noon
  • Reception from 4:45 – 7:30 p.m.

April 10 – July 13 | Online Registration
*Online registration closes Sunday, July 13

July 14 (Event Day)
Register in person beginning at 9 a.m. at Chenequa Country Club, 6250 N. Hwy. 83, Hartland.

All proceeds from the event benefit cardiovascular research at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
