Pediatric Dermatology Clinical Research Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin
The Department of Dermatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin seeks a Clinical Research Fellow for an appointment to begin July 1, 2011. This 1-2 year position will be directed by Beth A. Drolet, MD, Medical Director of Pediatric Dermatology and the Vascular Anomalies Program. The Pediatric Dermatology Division consists of six full-time faculty members. The research interests of this group include hemangiomas, vascular malformations, birthmarks, mastocytosis, and genodermatoses.
Fellowships are offered preferentially to physicians with at least one year of internship training who wish to pursue further training in dermatology.
The Clinical Research Fellow will:
- Develop hypotheses, design studies, and perform data analysis
- Recruit and enroll patients into new and existing studies
- Collaborate with faculty to write and publish research papers
- Have limited clinic exposure
- Participate in the Department of Dermatology and Pediatrics didactic programs
Eligibility Requirements:
- MD Degree
- Must obtain a Wisconsin Medical License prior to beginning fellowship
- 1-2 year commitment
