Hearing Aid Donation

If you are interested in donating used hearing aids or their accessories there are two options available:

(Note: Hearing aid does not have to be in working order)

A:  On Site

  • 1:  Bring your hearing aid to the Audiologists in the Department of
  •      Otolaryngology at Froedtert Hospital (located in the West Clinics area
  •      3rd floor)
  • 2:  Tell our staff you would like to donate a hearing aid.  Please indicate
  •      if the donation is for the Wisconsin Lions Foundation (WLF) or if it
  •      is for clinical use.
  • 4:  We will supply you with a receipt of donation.
  • 5:  Keep the sheet for your tax records.

B:  By Mail

  • 1:  Send us a note that this is for donation and indicate if the donation is for
  •      the Wisconsin Lions Foundation (WLF) or if it is for clinical use.
  •      Include your name, and address.
  • 2:  Pack note and hearing aid.
  • 3:  Mail the hearing aid to:*
  •
  •            9200 W. Wisconsin Ave.
  •            Dept of Otolaryngology Attn: Audiology
  •            Milwaukee, WI 53226
  •
  • 4:  We will mail you a receipt.

*We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Thank you kindly for your donation. Donated hearing aids are forwarded to the Wisconsin Lions Foundation (WLF) hearing program unless it is indicated that they are for our department's clinical use.  It is through generous donors, like you, which allow the Wisconsin Lions foundation and other participating hearing professionals to provide new hearing instruments to individuals who are unable to afford them on their own.

The Federal Government recognized the Wisconsin Lions Foundation (WLF) Hearing Program as a 501-c not-for-profit organization.  Your donation is tax deductible.   Your tax preparer can advise you about using this contribution as a deduction on your taxes.  (IRS regulations prohibit charitable organizations from establishing or affirming the value of your contributions.)

We greatly appreciate your donation and thank you for your concern in regard to the hearing healthcare of others in Wisconsin.
