BIOGRAPHY
Helen Kim holds national board certifications as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and Otorhinolaryngology Head-Neck Nurse. She has extensive nursing experience including clinical research and patient care of otolaryngology patients at an academic medical center in Chicago for six years prior to joining the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2004.
She is an active member within the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Metro Milwaukee Nurse Practitioners, and Society of Otorhinolaryngology Head-Neck Nurses.
Helen sees patients for the medical management of a variety of general otolaryngology problems. She has worked closely with a number of our general and subspecialty physicians over the past several years. She currently works closely in collaboration with Dr. David Friedland in the care of his otology and neuro-otology patients.
Helen believes in a holistic approach to quality patient education and mutual understanding in determining a plan of care with her patients.
