Mr. Ratke received his BS degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1980 and has been employed by the Department of Biophysics (and its predecessors) at the Medical College of Wisconsin since 1978. He has completed some MS-level work at Marquette University in the area of digital signal processing.
