PDD Projects

Center for Ambulatory Teaching Excellence (CATE)

CATE is a non-profit center to aid faculty in publishing and distributing materials. CATE enhances teaching in Ambulatory Medicine through the development of innovative instructional programs, applied research in ambulatory-based medical education, and publication of educational materials.

Winter Refresher Course

The Winter Refresher Course for family medicine is designed for family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other primary care physicians who practice in a variety of settings including hospitals, nursing homes and offices. DFCM Faculty and other regional experts present clinical updates and recognize volunteer community preceptors.

Research Forum

The Annual Forum for Behavioral Science in Family Medicine CME Conference is a national conference which attracts behavioral scientists, family physicians, medical educators and other interested in behavioral science in primary care.

Behavioral Science Forum

The Forum for Behavioral Science in Family Medicine serves to stimulate the advancement of behavioral science in family medicine. At the core of The Forum’s success are three objectives: promote professional networking, provide high quality professional development opportunities, and advance the integration of behavioral science in family medicine training.
