  • Liaison with the MCW Chairs, Deans, Program Directors and Hospital Leaders
  • Ensures accreditation of all of the MCWAH GME Programs
  • Liaison with the ACGME as the Designated Institutional Official (DIO)
  • Adjudicates residents appeals against dismissal or non-renewal
  • Provides liaison with and leadership in various medical organizations and associations as necessary

  • Develop,evaluate and maintain all systems necessary to ensure appropriate funding, billing and payment for 800 housestaff participating in 105 GME programs
  • Evaluate, prioritize and supervise the work effort of the GME staff
  • Implement changes in existing systems to increase productivity. Eliminate non-essential projects
  • Develop and administer the MCWAH Budget and the MCW/GME Budget
