AASLD Meeting Review

The AASLD Review is designed to give an overview of the liver disease topics that were presented at the annual AASLD meeting. Topics include: NAFLD, Metabolic Liver Disease, Viral Hepatitis, Transplant, Alcoholic Liver Disease and Miscellaneous.

A continental breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m., welcoming remarks at 8 a.m., and the course runs until 12 p.m. Participants will receive, breakfast, lunch and CME credits.

Jose Franco, MD, Professor of Medicine (Gastroenterology and Hepatology), Senior Associate Dean for Education School of Medicine is the Course Director.

Digestive Disease Week Review

The Digestive Disease Week Review is designed to give an overview of the latest advances in gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy and gastrointestinal surgery, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders, and cutting-edge technological advances that were presented at the annual DDW meeting.

Crohn’s and Colitis Conference: Patient and Professional

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology hosts the annual Inflammatory Bowel Disease Update. Topics presented by members of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Division of Colorectal Surgery, Department of Radiology, and Pediatric Gastroenterology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and Children's Wisconsin include: Therapeutic Monitoring in IBD, Small Bowel Imaging, Pregnancy and IBD, Pediatric Management of IBD, Surgical Management of IBD, and Abnormal LFTs in IBD.

The event is intended for gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, internists and family physicians, as well as physician assistants and nurses.
