Re-applying to the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences

Applicants to the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences who have been passed over for admission for a particular cycle year can request that their initial application be reconsidered (re-activated) for the next admission cycle year. Admission cycle year is defined as the academic year for which an applicant indicates preference for initial enrollment.

An applicant is entitled to one (1) free re-activation during the next admission cycle following his/her initial rejection provided that the application fee had been paid for the initial application. The request for re-activation must be in writing. Please Note: A reactivation of an application is not the same as reapplying to the Graduate School.

If the applicant wishes to submit any updated information for the application a new application (reapplication) along with the $50 fee will need to be submitted. These materials include but are not limited to:

  • Current academic transcripts (undergraduate and/or graduate)
  • GRE and/or TOEFL scores
  • Any professional work experience since the initial application
  • Letters of recommendation

If your application was not accepted, it is in your best interest to reapply to the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and submit new application materials.
