Earnestine Willis, MD, MPH, was a panelist at the August 27, 2011 Community Brainstorming Conference Forum (CBC); this forum has occurred on the 4th Saturday of each month in Milwaukee’s African American community for over twenty years. Health is usually the topic each August. Dr. Willis provided information regarding the Affordable Care Act and the potential benefits for communities of color. Other panelist included; Darlene Dyson (Outreach Specialist with “Street Beat”), Patricia McManus, PhD, (President & CEO, Black Health Coalition of Wisconsin), Claudine O’Leary (Anti-Violence Advocate) and Antonia A. Vann (CEO, ASHA Family Service, Inc.).
