The theme of the display was “Health Equity Can’t Wait. ACT NOW in your CommUNITY!” The display was located at the entrance to the Institute for Health and Society and remained up throughout the month of April 2012.The table featured key reference materials, including; Fact Sheet - CDC Health Disparities and Inequalities Report, 2011, Trends in U.S. Public Awareness of Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities (1999-2010) by the Office of Minority Health and NORC at the University of Chicago and Awareness of Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities Has Improved Only Modestly Over A Decade (Health Affairs, October 2011).
