Medical Education

Population Health faculty direct two courses in the preclinical years of medical education: Medical Ethics and Palliative Care, and Health Policy.  The Medical Ethics and Palliative Care course introduces second-year medical students to the major ethical issues in clinical medicine and end of life care.  Health Policy introduces second year medical students to public and community health principles, the organization of the health care system, and other relevant issues such as medical-legal issues.  Detailed information regarding medical education at Medical College of Wisconsin can be found at Medical School.
