Clinical apprenticeship puts concepts into practice

The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Discovery Curriculum encourages students to think and act like physicians from day one. The new Clinical Apprenticeship component of the curriculum is providing earlier and expanded clinical education for the next generation of physicians.

Dr. Ann Rosenthal appointed Chief of Rheumatology, Will and Cava Ross Professor of Medicine

Apr. 06 - Ann K. Rosenthal, MD, Professor of Medicine (Rheumatology), has been appointed Chief of the Division of Rheumatology by Roy L. Silverstein, MD, Chairman and the John and Linda Mellowes Professor of Medicine. Dr. Rosenthal also was named the Will and Cava Ross Professor of Medicine, and will assume the new position of Vice Chair for Faculty Development in the Department of Medicine when she completes her current service as Interim Chief of the Medical Service at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center.

Congratulations to the Class of 2012

The 99th annual commencement took place on May 18 at the Milwaukee Theatre, at which the Medical College of Wisconsin and its Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences awarded 202 MD, 38 PhD, 27 MS, 4 MA, and 18 Master of Public Health degrees, as well as bestowed numerous honors.
