The 99th annual commencement took place on May 18 at the Milwaukee Theatre, at which the Medical College of Wisconsin and its Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences awarded 202 MD, 38 PhD, 27 MS, 4 MA, and 18 Master of Public Health degrees, as well as bestowed numerous honors.
Mar 27 - Based on faculty feedback and the desire to invest in the development of future leaders, the Office of Faculty Affairs initiated a redesign of the Faculty Leadership Development Program to focus on the challenges and skillsets needed to lead effectively in academic medicine. The inaugural year of the re-launched program recently concluded with great success.
Mar 27 - David L. DeMets, PhD, a renowned biostatistician in the area of clinical trials, will present a seminar entitled, Challenges in Clinical Trials; Some Old and Some New, at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) on Tuesday, April 2, at 3:30 p.m. The seminar will be held in the Medical Education Building- room M2050. The event is free and open to MCW faculty, staff and students as well as the public.
