Apr. 30 - The Medical College of Wisconsin’s (MCW) 102nd annual commencement exercises will be held May 15 at 3:30 p.m. at the Milwaukee Theatre. MCW’s Medical School and its Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences will award a total of 186 MD., 27 PhD, 36 MS, 4 MA, and 17 Master of Public Health degrees.

Dec. 9 - Zach Shaheen, an MCW Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) student, received a four-year, $180,000 National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases grant to investigate the pancreatic immune response involved in the development of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus during a viral infection.
