Nobel Laureate Dr. Robert Lefkowitz to receive honorary degree, speak at commencement May 15

Apr. 30 - The Medical College of Wisconsin’s (MCW) 102nd annual commencement exercises will be held May 15 at 3:30 p.m. at the Milwaukee Theatre. MCW’s Medical School and its Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences will award a total of 186 MD., 27 PhD, 36 MS, 4 MA, and 17 Master of Public Health degrees.

MPH degree program online open house planned for April 29

Apr. 27 - Join the Master of Public Health Program’s online open house on Wednesday, April 29, at 12 p.m. Learn about the MPH degree, Certificate in Public Health, or non-degree options available to you. All our courses are completely online and designed for the working adult.

MSTP Student Receives $180,000 NIH Grant to Study Development of Diabetes

Dec. 9 - Zach Shaheen, an MCW Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) student, received a four-year, $180,000 National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases grant to investigate the pancreatic immune response involved in the development of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus during a viral infection. Dec. 2 - The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) has received a 4-year, $180,000 grant from the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases to investigate the pancreatic immune response involved in the development of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus during a viral infection.
