Medical College of Wisconsin alumnus Dr. George M. Lange has been elected President of the Wisconsin Medical Society. Other alumni, faculty and students were also chosen for leadership positions in the Society.
The 99th annual commencement took place on May 18 at the Milwaukee Theatre, at which the Medical College of Wisconsin and its Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences awarded 202 MD, 38 PhD, 27 MS, 4 MA, and 18 Master of Public Health degrees, as well as bestowed numerous honors.
Dr. Joseph E. Kerschner recently became the third alumnus of the medical school to be named its Dean and the first in history with a Medical College of Wisconsin diploma. The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Global Health Program is forging new partnerships to advance education, research, clinical care and public and community health training.
