MRI Safety Training

Application for MRI Safety Training

 

MRI Safety Training Procedure

When you are notified that you are enrolled into the MRI Safety Training course.


1. Log on to the Desire2Learn (D2L) program

  • Follow the instructions in the Welcome section.
  • Review the material on the Introduction to MRI Safety Training Module
  • Complete and submit the quiz.

Successful completion of the quiz is a score of (80% or higher)

2. Attend the MRI Safety classroom session.

  • MRI Safety Screening classes are provided as needed, usually once or twice per month. The class takes about an hour. This class is scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time.

3. After you have attended the Safety Screening class you will log on to the D2L program.

  • Select the MRI Safety Procedures and Practices Module to view the access to the Post Classroom Quiz
  • Complete the and submit the post-classroom quiz.

Successful completion of the quiz is a score of (80% or higher)

3. The final step of the training is also available on D2L.

  • In the MRI Safety Procedures and Practices Module review the MRI Safety Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Complete and submit the quiz.

Successful completion of the exam (80% or higher) concludes the initial MRI safety training.

 

Annual Renewal

A renewal of MRI safety training is required annually and is available on the D2L.
