Jan. 15 - A cake-cutting was held Monday, Jan. 14, to kick off the week-long 100th anniversary celebration of the founding of the Marquette University School of Medicine. The cake was cut by John R. Jan. 10 - In honor of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Marquette University School of Medicine (MUSM), the Medical College of Wisconsin is running a series of stories and hosting various events the week of Jan. 14-18. The celebration includes an anniversary cake cutting, which will be held outside the College cafeteria on Monday, Jan. 14, at 11 a.m. The cake will be cut by John R. Raymond, Sr. MD, MCW President and CEO, Dr. Margaret Callahan, Dean of the Marquette University School of Nursing, and Dr. Jeanne Hossenlopp, Vice Provost for Research and Dean of the Marquette University Graduate School. All faculty, staff and students are invited to stop by from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (or until the cake runs out) for a piece of cake to commemorate this important milestone in MCW’s history.
