Program Information
This is a two day program with the specific purpose of increasing education and knowledge of all aspects of endocrine clinical practice and research. This symposium consists of medical lectures given by healthcare professionals on topics related to Diabetes Updates. This course is designed for primary care physicians, adult & pediatric endocrinologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, dieticians, physician assistants, fellows, residents, and medical students.
Program Objectives
This conference is designed to:

Improve diabetes care by identifying and expounding evidence-based advances in management.

Outline the areas that are at the outer limits of current knowledge and define our limitations.

Improve Management and knowledge of drugs and therapy, using well-controlled trial data.

Gain further knowledge about the scientific knowledge of the pathophysiological processes involved in diabetes
Designation of Credit
The Medical College of Wisconsin is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education to physicians. The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this live activity a maximum of 14.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this activity for up to 14.5 hours of participation for continuing education for allied health professionals.
This live activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 14.25 prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim on the the credit commensurate with the excent of their participation in the activity.
