Education and Experience
Connie Nikolai is a seasoned executive assistant with over 25 years of administrative support experience; most recently as the Office and Events Coordinator for the Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service (WIPPS). She maintained a vital link with the campus deans of the two-year UW colleges, UW Colleges administration, WIPPS Advisory Board and the communities WIPPS serves.
As a former office manager and team leader, she brings a long career in customer service, key to building relationships with diverse non-partisan groups. Her fine attention to detail and organizational talents in juggling multiple projects and deadlines is why staff say she was “the glue that holds this organization together.” Connie enjoys “collaborating with various groups and community members, providing programs that our area needs to be better-informed citizens.”
Connie is able to interact with potential and existing clients, and has increased efficiency in several of her assigned roles. Her experience working in the education field offers her the ability to tailor her skills when working with administration, faculty, and students in an effective way.
Interests and Background
She is married, has three adult sons, and eight grandchildren. She enjoys time spent with family and traveling; as well as playtime with her two dogs.
