Pilot Integrated Curriculum
The Medical College of Wisconsin's Pilot Curriculum project was funded in part by the Educational Leadership for the Health of the Public – Research and Education Initiative Fund, a component of the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin endowment at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In academic year 2010-2011 and 2011-2012, the Medical College of Wisconsin piloted an integrated, organ system-based curriculum with 28 undergraduate medical students. Leveraging what was learned from the Pilot, the Discovery Curriculum was developed and the matriculating class of 2012 (graduating class of 2016) will experience the new Discovery Curriculum.
