Hey Everybody! My name is Phil Kostka, one of your nifty MCW Green Bay students. As the end of the year is coming, finals are on the way and soon we will be starting our clinical rotations! With all that happening, you would think there would be little time for travel or any type of fun what so ever! Well I am here to tell that is WRONG!
Right after our last exam block, 10 of us (students and spouses) were able to take a little road trip, all the way to Ridgecrest, NC for the CMDA (Christian Medical and Dental Association) National Convention. Needless to say it was a great experience and a chance for all of us to relax and let go of the worries of medical school for a bit, and this is just one example of stuff like this that is happening and gives us chance to get away.
Now this is not to say that medical school is all fun and games, but with a tight knit group of classmates, we all know how to rally around each other. This campus is more than willing to give you the opportunities you need to be the doctor you want to be, and I am not just talking about a specialty. There are plenty of opportunities such as these that let us go out and discover the world and get out the name of MCW-Green Bay.
