Linda Paschal, MCW director of financial aid, is respected and appreciated by current and former MCW medical school students because of her commitment to helping them plan how to manage the inevitable debt load that comes with attending medical school.
“The most satisfying part of my job is educating students and helping them understand the importance of budgeting, the repayment options that are available to them and helping them develop a strategic debt management plan that will be financially successful,” Linda said. “I also enjoy serving as an advocate for students and residents so that the issues being discussed come to a borrower-beneficial resolution.”
The extra effort Linda puts in on behalf of the students is appreciated. She has received many thank-you cards from students and residents for providing financial aid counseling services and resolving problems on their behalf. Linda is grateful for the opportunity to network with her colleagues at MCW and across the United States, for being able to participate in the professional development opportunities her position has presented and for working with a wonderful Financial Aid Team!
When not at work, Linda enjoys spending time with her daughter, Kristin, son-in-law, Juan and grandchildren, Isabella, 11 years old, and Alexis, two years old, who she and her husband, Jim, consider treasured blessings. She also enjoys taking flights with Jim, a private-licensed pilot, to visit family, friends and vacation destinations in their Cessna Cardinal RG (Retractable Gear) airplane. Jim and Linda have recently celebrated 42 years of marriage.

Giving to MCW
Sustaining Quality Healthcare Today
AND FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS OF PATIENTS AND FAMILIES
Your gift to the MCW Medical School is an investment in a healthier future for you, your family, and our communities. Whether it’s supporting scholarships, providing opportunities for students to work with our nationally recognized faculty researchers, or fostering an innovative curriculum with state-of-the-art medical technology, MCW donors are preserving quality healthcare for all of us.
The Impact of Your Giving
From their first days on campus, MCW students benefit from an educational program that provides early clinical experiences and access to the laboratories of federally funded investigators. Our faculty physicians lead a Discovery Curriculum that gives students the deep understanding of human biology and patient care they need to emerge as talented, compassionate doctors ready to treat patients and families.
You can be a part of their journey. Consider a gift supporting programs at our campuses in Milwaukee, Green Bay, or Central Wisconsin. Establish a scholarship fund. Or support a student research project. To donate today, click on one of the links below, visit MCW Giving or call (414) 955-4700.
