EDUCATIONAL INNOVATIONS AND INNOVATORS ACCOMPLISHMENTS SUBMISSION FORMS
We are seeking your help as institutional leaders as we celebrate education and educators.
On Tuesday, February 21st the Society of Teaching Scholars and a number of other co-sponsors are hosting our second “MCW’s Educational Innovations and Innovators Symposium”. The purpose of this symposium is to provide a forum in which MCW’s educators can come together to share works in progress, discuss landmark studies in medical education, see what their colleagues have been presenting regionally and nationally about medical education, and to celebrate the accomplishments of MCW faculty who have been recognized by their professional organizations for teaching/education. Dr. Gary Dunnington - AOA Award Winning Teacher; Department Chair & Professor of Surgery at Southern Illinois University - will be providing the late afternoon plenary (schedule details are being finalized).
We are seeking to develop a comprehensive list of individuals who have been recognized for their educational accomplishments, including, awards and honors as educators from extramural organizations/ professional societies, peer review education related abstracts and education related external grants/funding by regional/national organizations from 2007- 2011.
We ask that you or your designee(s) submit the information per the timelines below, so we may collate and present the information in our symposium publication(s). Unfortunately, submissions which occur after the deadlines will not be available in the symposium publication due our printer’s timeline.
