Dr. Traktman Named Dean of MUSC’s College of Graduate Studies

Mar. 3 - Paula Traktman, PhD, (Microbiology & Molecular Genetics) has been named Dean of the College of Graduate Studies at the Medical University of South Carolina. She also will hold faculty appointments in MUSC’s Departments of Microbiology & Immunology, and in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology in the College of Medicine, and the Hollings Cancer Center. Dr. William Jackson edits new book on the roles of cellular autophagy during microbial infection

Jan. 26 - William T. Jackson, PhD, Assistant Professor of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, served as editor of a new book titled, Autophagy, Infection and the Immune Response.
