Meet Mary Brawley

BIOGRAPHY

Mary Brawley is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, certified Head and Neck Lymphedema Therapist and Program Manager for the Center for Communication and Swallowing Disorders.  She has lectured nationally on swallowing disorders and rehabilitation of the head and neck cancer patient.  She is the author of an online course entitled Essentials of Medical Speech Pathology and co-authored the chapter Postlaryngectomy Speech Rehabilitation in the Textbook of Laryngology.  Ms Brawley is active in her state speech and hearing association and was named Speech Language Pathologist of the Year in 2008.  Her clinical interests include head and neck cancer, swallowing disorders and aural rehabilitation for cochlear implant adults.
