Paul Popper, PhD Associate Professor and Director Division of Research Department of Otolaryngology & Communication Sciences
Dr. Popper is a neuroscientist with extensive experience in molecular biology, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization and receptor binding.
His research is focused on studying neurochemical basis of behavior by investigating changes in neurotransmitter expression in the vestibular system induced by relevant stimuli.
In addition, he is interested in applying receptor internalization to the study of vestibular efferent/afferent interaction.
Dr. Popper also directs the basic science research activities of residents and medical students.
