Kathlyn E. Fletcher, MD, MA

Assistant Professor, Medicine

(General Internal Medicine)

"I believe that one of the most rewarding parts of being a physician is interacting with people.  I really enjoy meeting patients, hearing their stories and working together to design a plan that works in their lives.

In addition to patient care, I am also interested in research about how patient care/patient safety are impacted by medical education.  After completing my residency, I did the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program, which is a research fellowship at the University of Michigan.  I also completed a master's degree in the University of Michigan School of Education.  I currently spend my time pursuing research interests, teaching and taking care of patients on the wards at the VA."
