It is our pleasure to introduce you to the Medical College of Wisconsin/Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Pediatric Residency Training Program Website. We are very proud of our program, and we are glad to have the opportunity to share it with you.
A message from our chair Dr. Robert H. Lane, MD, MS.
Outstanding residents who support and encourage one another in a collegial environment - World class faculty who are passionate about resident education - Exceptional breadth and depth of clinical experiences, from general community pediatrics to all pediatric subspecialties.
We believe that our program very successfully combines all of the elements which make up the ideal pediatric residency training program. The educational curriculum is structured to provide experiences of breadth and depth in all areas of pediatrics to all residents, while allowing residents the time and support to pursue their individual interests, whether that is in primary care community pediatrics, pediatric hospital medicine, global health, or academic subspecialty pediatrics.
Our Department of Pediatrics has over 300 faculty, representing all pediatric subspecialties and disciplines. These faculty provide state-of-the-art clinical care and conduct innovative clinical, translational, and basic research. They are dedicated to teaching and mentoring residents, medical students, and fellows.
Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, ranked as the #4 children’s hospital in the U.S. by Parents Magazine in 2013, provides the full range of pediatric services.
