Our Department of Pediatrics has over 300 faculty, representing all pediatric subspecialties and disciplines. These faculty provide state-of-the-art clinical care and conduct innovative clinical, translational, and basic research. They are dedicated to teaching and mentoring residents, medical students, and fellows. Our faculty and our clinical care units are internationally recognized for their clinical excellence. We are a regional and national referral center and our patient outcomes are among the best in the country. One hundred and seventy-seven Children's Hospital of Wisconsin physicians were recognized in 2010-2011 as “Best Doctors in America”. Medical College of Wisconsin and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists made up two-thirds of all pediatricians receiving such recognition in the state.
