The division has an ACGME-accredited fellowship training program in pediatric endocrinology and diabetes. We accept up to two fellowship physicians per year for three years of training. It is the goal of our fellowship training program to train pediatricians with an interest and potential for continuing in an academic medical career including continued involvement in research and teaching.
Our first year positions are filled for July 1, 2010. Beginning December 2009, all applications will be through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service of the AAMC). The deadline for applications is December 31st the year prior to the start of the fellowship. However, it is important to note that qualified applicants will be invited for interviews starting in the early spring in the year prior to the start date (e.g. spring 2010 interviews for July 2011 start). Therefore, the available slots may be filled before the application deadline.
