Dr. Begaz is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Director of Undergraduate Medical Education in the Department of Emergency Medicine. He also serves as Clerkship Director for the Resuscitation and Perioperative Medicine rotation (RPM), a required third year course at the Medical College that trains students in medical resuscitation. He has completed the ACEP teaching fellowship and conducts research on optimum educational strategies for medical student education. Other academic interests include the use of human simulation in medical education and traumatic brain injury.
