Biography

Dr. Konduri's main research interest is in persistent pulmonary hypertension. He is the principal investigator for a multi-center trial of early-inhaled nitric oxide in term/near term infants with respiratory failure. The trial has currently enrolled 210 infants from 24 sites in the USA and Canada. Dr. Konduri is also interested in teaching research techniques to fellows and residents in Pediatrics. His teaching efforts have been recognized by the house staff and medical students with five teaching awards. He is a member of several professional organizations including Society for Pediatric Research. He chairs the Neonatal Inhaled Nitric Oxide Study Group, a collaborative group consisting of investigators from NICHD-Neonatal Network and Canadian Inhaled Nitric Oxide Study Group.
