Our faculty members offer an array of inpatient and outpatient clinical services for the diagnosis and management of problems that are difficult to diagnose or hard to treat. Our care is distinguished from that of other providers because we practice in a multidisciplinary clinical, teaching and research setting. We provide the only regional source of comprehensive care for patients with complex medical problems such as cystic fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, lung transplant, and others. Read more...
New Division Chief Announcement
Ali I. Musani, MD, FCCP
The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care, along with the Department of Medicine, is pleased to announce that Ali I. Musani, MD, FCCP, will be joining the Medical College of Wisconsin on July 1, 2015, as Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Musani is currently Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics, Director of Interventional Pulmonary Bronchoscopy, and Director of the Interventional Pulmonary Fellowship at National Jewish Health in Denver, CO. He is also a Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Musani is a graduate of Dow Medical College in Pakistan and completed training in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Interventional Pulmonology at SUNY Downstate, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and University of Pennsylvania, respectively. He is recognized internationally as a leader in his field of interventional pulmonology and as such serves in leadership positions for many organizations.
We are excited about Dr. Musani joining the established Pulmonary and Critical Care team and look forward to his coming on board.
