Kristofer Kainz, PhD, is an Associate Professor and the Director of both the Medical Physics Residency Program and the Medical Physics Certificate Program in the Department of Radiation Oncology. His research interests include intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and image guided radiation therapy (IGRT).

Tracy Kelly, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Her clinical focus is breast cancer. Dr. Kelly sees patients at the Froedtert & the Medical College Clinical Cancer Center.

Meena Bedi, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Her primary focus of treatment and research is sarcomas. She also treats prostate cancer, GU cancers and GYN cancers. Dr. Bedi sees patients at Froedtert & the Medical College Clinical Cancer Center.

Colleen A. Lawton, MD

Colleen Lawton, MD, FACR, FASTRO, is Vice Chairman and a tenured Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology. In addition, she is the Director of Radiation Oncology Clinical Operations at Froedtert Hospital and Associate Director of the Radiation Oncology Medical Residency Program. Her clinical and research interests include prostate and genitourinary cancers. Dr. Lawton sees patients at the Medical College of Wisconsin Clinical Cancer Center.

Carmen Bergom, MD, PhD

Carmen Bergom, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Her primary focus of treatment and research is breast cancer. She leads the Bergom Translational Research Lab focusing on identifying novel ways to minimize development of treatment resistance in breast cancers and determining ways to enhance current chemotherapeutic and radiation treatments.

X. Allen Li, PhD, is a Professor and Chief of Medical Physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Li is a Fellow of American Association of Physicists in Medicine. He has been an Associate Editor or peer reviewer for 15 scientific journals and a grant reviewer for 7 public and private research funding agencies. He has edited a book, authored 10 book chapters and published over 140 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Li’s research interests range from adaptive radiation therapy, outcome modeling, to MRI guided radiation treatment planning and delivery.

Meetha M. Medhora, PhD

Meetha Medhora, PhD, is a Professor of Radiation Oncology, Medicine and Physiology. She is the Director of Research Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care/Department of Medicine and Associate Director of the Center for Countermeasures against Radiation. Her research interests include the mitigation of radiation injury to the lungs, the effects of combined radiation to the lung and skin and protection of pulmonary vessels by endogenous fatty acids. Some of Dr. Medhora's research is funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH).

Adam Currey, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology and is the Director of the Radiation Oncology Medical Residency Program. His clinical and research interests include breast cancer and skin cancers.

John Moulder, PhD, is a Professor and Director of Radiation Biology in the Department of Radiation Oncology as well as Director for the Center for Medical Countermeasures against Radiological Terrorism (CMCRT). His research interests include the biological basis for carcinogenesis and cancer therapy, prevention and treatment of radiation-induced normal tissue injury, the impact of tumor hypoxia on radiotherapy, biological aspects of human exposure to non-ionizing radiation, radiological terrorism countermeasures, and radiobiological risks of space travel.

His research is focused on the development and application of advanced MRI imaging technologies for MRI-guided radiation treatment planning and delivery.

Her clinical and research interests include lung and esophageal cancers, and palliative care.

J. Frank Wilson, MD

J. Frank Wilson, MD, FACR, FASTRO, Bernard & Miriam Peck Family Professor of Radiation Oncology and Director Emeritus, MCW Cancer Center. Dr. Wilson is an internationally known radiation oncologist and an authority on the treatment of breast and skin cancer. His research interests are broad and include the developmental aspects of brachytherapy, a field in which he has co-authored several seminal textbooks.
