Nationally-Recognized Physicians Staff
New Endocrinology Center in Menomonee Falls
Oct 23 - The Medical College of Wisconsin and Froedtert & Community Health announce the opening in Menomonee Falls of the Endocrinology Center at North Hills, a major treatment center for diabetes and other endocrine disorders. The center is staffed by seven new Medical College of Wisconsin faculty physicians, including nationally-recognized experts in diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, and pituitary, thyroid and lipid disorders.
Five of the new Medical College physicians - James Findling, MD; Beth Lalande, MD; Steve Magill, MD, PhD; Tiffany Pifel, MD; and Brian Rose, MD - all previously did business as Midwest Endocrinology Associates, the only private practice in Wisconsin to ever be recognized in the nation’s top 50 endocrinology departments in U.S. News & World Report.
Two of the new physicians - Ty Carroll, MD; and Brad Javorsky, MD - join the Medical College faculty after completing post-doctoral fellowships in endocrinology.
“The addition of these nationally-recognized physicians expands the depth of expertise within the Medical College’s division of endocrinology,” said G. Richard Olds, MD, chairman and the Linda and John Mellowes Professor of Medicine. “Our existing program was considered one the best in the nation; now we have even more options and physicians available for patients with endocrine disorders.” In 2008, the Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin endocrinology program was ranked 33rd best in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
The Endocrinology Center at North Hills is located within the Community Memorial Medical Commons, W129 N7055 Northfield Drive in Menomonee Falls. The physicians are all medical staff members at Community Memorial Hospital.
